A Great Light: Prince of Peace | Tom Rossi

For over 700 years, Israel waited for the Prince of Peace. They expected a military king who would overthrow their enemies and fix their circumstances. But when Jesus finally came, He brought something far more profound—peace with God.

This Sunday, we explored Isaiah 9:6-7 and discovered that the peace Jesus offers isn't about comfortable circumstances or conflict-free living. It's about reconciliation with our Creator. Through His blood shed on the cross, Jesus made peace between broken humanity and a holy God. This is the peace our hearts truly long for, even when we don't realize it.

The question isn't whether peace is available—Jesus accomplished that on the cross. The question is: will we let His peace rule in our hearts? Will we surrender control and allow the Prince of Peace to be Lord over our fears, our anxieties, and our circumstances?
